The Open Society Institute and the British Council jointly launched this Berlin-specific report as part of the At Home in Europe project of the Open Society Institute. This report is the result of research undertaken on the level and nature of integration of Muslims in eleven cities across Europe (Antwerp, Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Leicester, London, Marseille, Paris, Rotterdam, and Stockholm) as part of a project which works to advance and promote sustainable integration of minority groups in Western Europe.
Through engagement with policymakers and communities, the research examined the political, social, and economic participation of Muslims and other marginalized groups at local, national, and European levels.
